What is a Watchmen Days?

Watchmen Day is a day we do something good for mankind.

This is the day we will come together and celebrate the movement that we can be the greatest asset to our community by contributing our time, effort, and resources for the benefit of mankind. This is the beginning of a long journey for all Watchmen in the pursuit of ending suffering to humanity and ensuring the continuation of life on earth.

Activities on Watchmen Day event: Due to Covid 19 there are restriction that prevent us from gathering on large group to participating in all watchmen activities. So we are breaking down in to multiple small event

April 24th, 2021

• We clean up litter from the park and debris left behind by the homeless in the wood, clean up Des Moines River, Clean up the stream. We will join forces with Earthday and clean up the earth.

Planting:

• Free food for everyone-feed the community
• Martial Art Demonstration by the Watchmen: Self defense and Mix Martial Art
• Music
• Plants give away to attendee
• The Introductions of the Watchmen Operations: Green the Earth Project With Fruit Trees(Watchmen Trees),  Watchmen Community Garden, Watchmen Bee Farming, Watchmen Habitat for Pollinator, Watchmen Community Composting, Watchmen Community Fridge, Watchmen Food Pantry, Watchmen Training Center(youth development center through martial art training and guidance)

Things we can do on Watchmen Weeks from April 15^th to May 15ths.

   1. Help the needy and the less fortunate like homeless
   2. Help the elderly and those who can’t help themselves
   3. Give someone a helping hand
   4. Teach someone a life skill
   5. Take care of your community
   6. Starting or joint a good cause
   7. Feed the hunger
   8. Be supportive and be kind to other
   9. Become a mentor

2. Protecting
   1. Stand up for someone
   2. Stand up against bullies
   3. Stand up for what is right
   4. Protect those who can’t protect themselves
   5. Watch over your community-your neighborhood
   6. Voice up for those who can’t
   7. Train someone to protect themselves
   8. Be alarmed, be a whistleblower
   9. Stop Criminal Activities in your community
   10. Keeping peace

3. Preserving life
   1. Protecting the environment
   2. Environmental awareness-share your idea of why we should protect our environment
   3. Recycling
   4. Start a compost bin or join a community composting
   5. Plant trees-fruit trees
   6. Gardening
   7. Helping pollinators like bees and butterflies to repopulating plants on earth by starting bee farming or start a flower patch.
   8. Clean up the earth: litter, trash, parks, river, creek, your community
   9. Donate Blood
   10. Reduce the consumption of resources
